CopRice GrainBlends is an innovative new range of ‘loose blend’ rations that comprise a balanced blend of processed cereals, vegetable protein meals and a concentrate pellet. They are an alternative method of delivering nutritionally-balanced rations to optimise rumen function and livestock health, fertility and performance.
Available in three base blends to suit most dairy operations (12%, 15% and 18% crude protein), CopRice GrainBlends rations contain highly digestible carbohydrates to fulfil energy requirements and maximise dry matter intake; rumen degradable protein and rumen by-pass protein to support rumen function; high levels of starch to provide energy density; and essential amino acids necessary for high levels of milk production. Each blend is carefully balanced with a CopRice Lac Cycle or CopRice concentrate pellet to supply adequate levels of vitamins, minerals and buffers for optimal rumen function, health and fertility.
CopRice GrainBlends contain high quality, locally-sourced ingredients. Depending on seasonal availability, ingredients may include wheat, barley, cracked lupins, canola meal, soybean meal, cottonseed meal, palm kernel meal and wheat middlings. Custom blends containing maize can also be prepared by our nutritionists to match the specific nutrient requirements of your cows or to complement available feed resources.
